On Thursday the 27 May the Chamber hosted its first ‘Shaping Our Future’ Business & Industry for 2021. Our theme for the forum was ‘Business Growth Strategies – Opportunities for Business’ and those who attended were privileged to hear from our 3 guest speakers – Lisa Smith, Co-Director of a business development and coaching consultancy, Blow Your Own Mind; Brad Adams, Executive Director of Ocean Grown Abalone who presented his business opportunity in growing Abalone in Esperance; Dr Natasha Teakle was our third guest speaker from AusIndustry and is currently the Regional WA Facilitator for Accelerating Commercialisation. All provided our audience with some great information. Thanks must also go to our local speakers; Shire of Esperance CEO, Shane Burge and Southern Ports Projects & Planning Manager, Iain Robinson. Both gave updates on what was happening in and around the Esperance Shire and projects the Port is undertaking.
