Esperance Women's Leadership Networking Event

On Friday 17 September 2021, approximately 50 women joined us for our second Esperance Women’s Leadership Network Event sponsored by Bankwest at Lucky Bay Brewery. The theme for the event was “The Challenges and Journeys of Women in Agriculture”

After a slight delay due to technical problems, we heard from our first guest speaker Natalie Bowman. Natalie is a farmer from Grass Patch with a passion for ‘Big Picture Thinking’ and ‘Long Term Planning’. She is also a strong believer in lifelong learning and contributing to our communities.

A mother and daughter duo, Natahna and Inaya Stone, were our second guest speakers who grew up in the wheatbelt on their family farm as fourth and fifth generation farmers. It was a pleasure hearing about both women’s journey’s and how now they are both working together and helping each other with advice and guidance. How very special.

Thirdly, Sally Roworth, Esperance Eggs shared her heartfelt story on how she became Esperance’s local egg lady and what amazing and inspiring story it was.

All four women spoke from the heart, sharing with us their Challenges and Journeys to get them where they are today. We thank them for that.

We then shared a delicious lunch of pizzas and bruschetta catered for by Lucky Bay Brewery. Thank you to our Guest Speakers, our Sponsors Bankwest and Lucky Bay Brewery.

We look forward to seeing you at our next EWLN event in November!
