Congratulations to Jai McElroy from Sportspower, on winning the Customer Service Award for November 2025. Sponsored by Esperance Communications.

Jai has been recognised for his kindness, patience and genuine care for every customer he serves. He takes the time to connect, explain things clearly and make each visit a positive experience, especially for families with kids who truly appreciate his thoughtful and understanding approach.
His friendly attitude, reliability and calm presence make a real difference to those around him, showing what great customer service looks like in action. Jai’s ability to make people feel comfortable and supported has earned him well deserved recognition across the community.
Originally joining Sportspower in 2022, Jai says his love of sports and helping others makes every day rewarding. “I’ve always loved sports growing up, so this job felt like the perfect fit. I get to help people find what they need to enjoy their game or hobby, whether it’s cricket, footy or anything else”, he said.
When asked what he enjoys most about his role, Jai shared: “Definitely the people, working with a great team, and helping customers find the right gear is what makes it fun. Seeing a smile on someone’s face after you’ve helped them, that’s the best part”.
For Jai, great customer service comes down to simple values. “It’s about being polite and making someone’s day a little brighter”, he said. “You don’t have to know everything, just be kind, listen and be willing to help”.
