March Customer Service Award Winner

The Esperance Chamber of Commerce & Industry is proud to announce the March 2026 Customer Service Award winner, Bek Baldock from Esprintz.

Bek receiving her award, presented by Esperance Communications, Ron Chambers.

hBek was nominated multiple times by customers who recognised her exceptional service, welcoming approach and ability to create genuine connections with those she serves.

Working at Esprintz for the past two years, Bek describes the role as “the best two years of my working life” a reflection of both her passion for the work and the supportive environment she is part of.

What stands out most in Bek’s approach to customer service is her perspective: customers aren’t just transactions, they are people. Whether helping someone navigate photo printing, framing meaningful memories or simply sharing a moment of conversation, Bek focuses on understanding what each person truly needs.

“I speak to people like they’re important to me, because everyone is.”

This mindset is reflected in the experiences shared by those who nominated her, highlighting her patience, knowledge and ability to make customers feel comfortable and supported. Bek also credits her team at Esprintz for playing a significant role in her success, describing them as “the best coworkers anyone could hope for” and emphasising the importance of a supportive workplace in delivering great service. When asked what great customer service means, Bek’s answer was simple, it should feel genuine.

“Nothing compares to real connection. Good customer service should feel comfortable, relaxed and like a real conversation.”

Outside of work, Bek brings the same creativity into her personal life, spending time drawing, painting and working in her garden, a reflection of the creativity she brings into the store each day. Receiving the award is something she has been working towards across her career in customer service and she sees it as recognition not just of her own efforts, but of the environment she is part of.

“This award is as much a credit to the business and my team as it is to me.”

The Customer Service Award recognises individuals who consistently go above and beyond, setting the standard for service across Esperance’s business community. Bek’s recognition is a reflection not only of her individual efforts, but also of the strong service culture within local businesses. We congratulate Bek on this well deserved achievement.

Nominations are open for the April Customer Service Award, so keep nominating and helping us recognise the incredible service happening across Esperance.
