Congratulations to Deb and Todd Shearer of Southern Suspension & 4X4 for winning the May 2023 Customer Service Award, sponsored by Esperance Metaland!
Deb and Todd have owned and operated Southern Suspension and 4X4 Centre since June 1999, opening with a grand total of $6000 worth of stock. They were nominated for the Customer Service Award for consistently going above and beyond for their customers, always having a smile and a solution, no matter how busy they are.
Every day is different at Southern Suspension and 4x4, and Deb and Todd love listening to the stories of where people have been, what they have been up to, and where they are going next (although some of the adventure tales can make them very jealous!).
Deb and Todd are passionate about discovering new ways they can help their customers, and they love finding out about new products, services and innovations. Everything they sell, they fit and warrant, and they are dedicated to making sure all work that goes out is of the quality they would like on their own car.
Deb and Todd have learned that having fantastic staff really does make a business, and that having a great support network around you is essential. They feel lucky to have this and are grateful every day for it.
Being so far from Perth, they find their greatest challenge in making sure they have their stock levels correct, and careful planning is essential to ensuring they have parts in time for jobs booked in.
In their spare time, Deb and Todd enjoy getting out amongst it camping, drives along the beach, catching up with friends, watching the local football or netball, and participating at Esperance Pistol Club, Esperance Kart Klub and 6 Mile Hill Volunteer Fire Brigade.
