About the event
Join us for a Business Breakkie Bites session with Renewable.bio, a WA-owned renewable carbon company developing and using bioresources for bio energy and decarbonisation projects that work in harmony with nature and communities to deliver sustainable long-term benefits.
Renewable.bio has been operating in Esperance since 2022, with local teams harvesting biomass from fire damaged plantations for export to European markets as a renewable energy source. Two shipments were completed in 2025, with a third planned shortly.
Their feasibility study to secure ongoing biomass supply from plantation forestry is well progressed and expected to be completed by mid-year. As part of this process, Renewable.bio is seeking to consult with local stakeholders and hear community perspectives.
At this session, the Renewable.bio project team will share more information about the project and provide an opportunity for discussion in an informal, open setting.
