LOCAL FOR THE LONG HAUL

The Shire of Esperance has partnered with the Esperance Chamber of Commerce and Industry to deliver a marketing campaign called ‘Local for the Long Haul’. The campaign is aimed at encouraging Esperance residents to support local businesses as they adapt to changes in operation due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

LOCALS EMPLOYING LOCALS

 

ECCI have opened our Locals Employing Locals to all Esperance businesses to help employ locals in industries that are in need of staff. The idea is that it is "Locals Lending Locals" and once we return to normal employees can return to their jobs.

 

 

 

SHIRE OF ESPERANCE PROJECT

 

During this time of uncertainty we are working closely with the Shire of the Esperance. They have adjusted their "whats on calendar" to help us keep the community up to date with which businesses are open or offering delivery services.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION

 

To keep up to date with current Small Business information please check the Small Business Development Corporation website frequently. 

SBDC FREE ONLINE LEARNING

 

To support you and your team during this period of business disruption arising from the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic SBDC have joined forces with GO1 to provide a library of online professional learning resources. It is free and available until June 30th 

 

 

 

 

 

CCIWA RESPONDING TO COVID-19

CCIWA have developed a website for responding to COIVID-19 sharing practical advice and assistance for small business.

 

 

 

 

 

 

BUSINESS HOTLINE

If you have any questions about the government stimulus packages there is a Business Hotline available- 13 28 46


They have expanded to provide specialist advisers and extended hours to support small and medium businesses impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

 

MENTAL HEALTH

 

If you need help for mental health during these stressful times here is a document to help you find the correct services in Esperance. 

The Black Dog Institute has developed Evidence-based resources to help individuals, workplaces, schools, parents and health professionals.
