
Field Technician Mechanical or Electrical
The Role: Worley is looking to appoint an Worley is looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical or Electrical Technician on a permanent full-time basis at Esperance WA. Reporting to the Supervisor, the technician will be responsible for performing routine, preventative, corrective and reactive maintenance associated with the Kambalda to Esperance Gas Pipeline (KEGP) and the natural Gas Distribution System (GDS) within Esperance
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure Zero harm is achieved during the execution of all work activities and fully participate in the Worley Power Services safety processes and systems.
Build and maintain effective relationships within the team through effective communication, flexibility, and mutual respect for team members.
Maintain the minimum skills requirement for the position description and strive for further skills development.
Complete allocated tasks in a manner that ensures all statutory obligations are adhered to.
Interact with customers in a respectful manner that promotes good consumer feedback.
Report all incidents and injuries and participate in the associated investigations.
Deliver the Client Contract requirements to a high standard.
Effectively utilise all processes and available resources in a manner that achieves efficient completion of the tasks in a safe manner while maintaining a high level of work quality.
Have the ability and safety awareness to work autonomously at remote sites without direct supervision.
Have the flexibility to perform tasks other than those within your specific trade qualification when verified competent to do so.
Oversee work activities completed by Sub-Contractors.
Be available for occasional away from home work when requested or planned.
Qualifications:
Mechanical trade or Electrical trade qualification
Minimum class C unrestricted vehicle licence (HR preferred)
For Mechanical trade applicants a qualification in Gas Fitting or Gas Supply operations will be beneficial.
For Electrical trade applicants a qualification in Hazardous Area - Gas Atmospheres will be beneficial.
High Risk Work license - DG, LF etc also a bonus
